Linda Zimmer from the Champaign-Urbana News Gazette was the speaker. While she was visiting our church, she talked with several members of our congregation to gain information for an article she was writing for the Religion column of the Living section in the newspaper. On Friday, August 10, her column appeared in print and related a nice story of First Lutheran Church as we remember 100 years in our church building.
